Crazy patriot who tends to think way too much. Dwells a little bit on worst case scenarios. I am sick of hearing we are on fire. Things are not great but on fire mmm not yet
"When you keep your cool, when others are loosing theirs, maybe you haven't grasped the situation". just sayin'
He may be waking up but I don't trust him.
After flat out bashing Ron Paul he's starting to back a lot of what Ron Paul said during his Presidential campaign. Of course why wouldn't he, Paul was dead on about the housing collapse ruining our economy and the illegal invasion into Iraq. I sure wish more people would wake up.
GB can't be all things to all people. He makes mistakes and admits them. This is admirable and more than I can say for a-holes like Olbermann.
I may not agree with his religion bit, but I do agree that he has his US history down, particularly about the Progressive agenda from 1900 onward. He has the facts and the Progressives refuse to rebut them because they know he is historically correct. THerefore they want to ban him from the airwaves, and some like Jay Rockefeller want to censor FNC altogether. Now that's a fine upstanding First Amendment fellow for the Dems...
Radical Progressives are afraid of GB because of the sunshine he directs their way. When ordinary Americans understand what the Progressive agenda is all about, they run from it and its supporters like the proverbial plague. All with good reason because it would be the death of the Constitution, if it "ain't" dead already, you'll know the reason why.
Poll results so far: a pretty even split on whether Beck is a hero or a lunatic. I guess this reflects the current left/right polarization of the country in general.
He gives off a Jim Jones-televangelist-snake oil sales man type vibe mixed with some Joseph Goebbels style propaganda. Exactly what the right wing nuts need to stir fear and paranoia. I have watched him from time to time and contributed to his ratings which goes to show that everyone who watches him does not agree with or like him. Even if they did, it doesn't make what he says true or right. Hitler had many followers, it definitely was not due to moral superiority or genuine concern for the people. It was out of fear and manipulation.
America has more gullible chumps per square mile than any other developed nation.
The formula of working the American people is to use religion and paranoia. Beck does that very well.
In the OP: Question: "Overall, do you think that he is a positive force in this country or a negative one?"
Negative. But, to be fair, positive forces in America are very few.
You are such an America hater. More chumps per square mile than any other developed nation? Really? Even those nations FULL of useful idiots that take the propaganda hook line and sinker and become slaves on their own will? Those gullible chumps? The same gullible chumps that believe that global warming is man made? Those useful idiots? The useful idiot chumps that think a cap and trade system is actually an environmental policy and refuse to see the truth that it is a wealth redistribution scam? Really? Those gullible chumps and useful idiots? Yeah, those useful idiots that are rioting in Greece because they wanted to raise the retirement age 2 years? Those crybaby gullible chump useful idiots? I see your point....
