And that's why the two most essential lies -- among the many -- in his new memoir are that he had a legitimate reason to invade Iraq, and that he had a legitimate reason to torture detainees. Neither is remotely true. But Bush must figure that if he keeps making the case for himself -- particularly if it goes largely unrebutted by the traditional media, as it has thus far -- then perhaps he can blunt history's verdict.

The Two Most Essential, Abhorrent, Intolerable Lies Of George W. Bush's Memoir

The writer holds a different opinion than Mr. Bush. When two people hold differing opinions, it does not mean one is lying, unless he actually doesn't hold the opinion he claims to hold.

Bush was a fascist fighter.

He fought for the fascists.

Funny how the lefties call him a fascist but don't think their own little tyrant is wrong for his takeovers.

Like it or not...I think Bush had the country's best interest in mind....it's not apparent that President Skippy does.

Your source is so credible.....wrong answer, try again!

I agree with Calvinist: "Bush had the country's best interest in mind.....it is not apparent that President Skippy does."

On his worse day, Bush was a better President than Obummer.

If Bush had the best interests of the country in mind he would have focused on getting those responsible for 9/11, not continued with previously made plans to depose Saddam Hussein, who had nothing to do with 9/11.

Seriously??

In the spirit of the Holiday Season, all I can say to you is, "are you serious, Clark?"

From the movie Christmas Vacation - Clark tells the kids he heard a news report Santa had been spotted in the area and cousin Eddie says, "are you serious Clark?"........obviously a dumb thing to say.
