What this may lead to is too early to tell right now.

This has been going on for decades.
It's nothing more than posturing.

And it's none of our business.

I realize they've had many skirmishes, but have they openly shelled civilian areas? Seems like NK has mostly stuck to military targets.

That island has more soldiers on it than it does civilians.

North Korea has been attacking South korea with heavy artilleryy for decades? Wow.... did not know that.

I know that they've had some skirmishes using these..shots fired over the border, etc..

However, I didn't know theyve been using these

for decades.

Thanks for the info.

And right on none of our business, either. I mean, why did we fight Hitler, it wasn't like he attacked us, right? Live and let live, I say. Eh? Eh? Not like we have a trade agreement with South Korea, eh? Not like we need to take care of our interests or anything. Just let the North steam roll them into oblivion and we can then negotiate with the North. I'm sure that will be better.

Thanks for info. Upon research I can see why, being that it is a disputed island.

Militaryphotos.net has a thread running on this with interesting info, the north is definitely throwing out the hyperbole, reports of Nk naval fleet massing and heading south. SK claiming their counterstrike inflicted heavy losses. Hopefully just saber rattling, but who knows. In any case I hope this doesn't escalate. Maybe Sk will just tell them to knock it off again.

But, is IS our business because we have a mutual defense treaty with South Korea. In case anyone doesn't know, treaties ratified by Congress have the force of law under our Constitution and a failure to defend South Korea would be literally a crime.

North Korea is the PERFECT example of extreme liberalism (aka socialism)... Steal from other countries or else... That's all North Korea is asking, just the redistribution of the world's wealth to them...

Jesus Christ.....

Some of you are so brainwashed and ignorant it makes me sick.

Please LEARN about politics before posting on a political forum.

Hope this helps.
