Obama needs to make a STRONG statement about this. North Korea has been harassing South Korea militarily, killing dozens of their soldiers since Obama took office. North Korea knows that South Korea will not take any strong counter action unless it has U.S. support. If Obama continues his lax policies towards North Korea, there will come a day when North Korea will do something extremely drastic and it will be TOO late to do anything about.

I think Republicans care about personal responsibility about as much as family values (Gingrich, Sanford, Haggard, et al)

Well gee, I can't very well rep you for your lame attempt at throwing responsibility everywhere but where it belongs now, can I? Typical NeoConfused hypocrisy, they talk a lot about personal responsibility but their actions belie that talk.

WHEN did he claim to be? Unlike the 'family values' spouting hypocrite Republicans, the prime example being the adulterer they sent on a witch hunt for Clinton.
I think turning this into a Left -vs- Right debate is making this more about us than the people of South Korea who are suffering.
I didn't vote for Obama, but he has made serious statements condemning North Korea for their actions. They are being fueled by the communist blocks and it most certainly is our responsibility to stop them. It is always a thin line for any American president to take appropriate actions against North Korea while not causing a public showdown with China. Obama has thus far done a good job with this problem.
Who slept with who in Washington really isn't the issue. Avoiding a war with China, while protecting the innocent, is.
