1) Removal of the 10 commandments and crosses in the classroom isn't about "offense." It's about an interpretation of the constitution that forbids establishment of religion. Educate yourself.

2) You want to put a flag up in schools that suggests and supports treason and secession from the United States of America? Really? Sounds pretty stupid, and goes beyond notions of "offense." Might as well put up a Soviet Flag or put up Al-Qaeda writings that call for the downfall of the United States.

Just because people celebrate Christmas doesn't mean they are Christian. A lot of people who are atheist and agnostic celebrate it because it is no longer a religious holiday for many Americans, it is a time to get together with family and exchange gifts.
So according to you the US isnt a Christian nation. You may want to look at the link I attached as almost 80% of Americans consider themselves Christians in 2009. Not the 60% number that you pulled out of your rear end. Looks as if it is YOU that is "pretty ignorant".

I said the U.S. flag should be present in classrooms, but the Rebel flag should be allowed to be worn by students based on the reasoning that if I have to handle being offended than libs can too. Btw the soviet represents yall's beliefs WAY better than mine.

Nope, you don't have the right to never feel offended. You obviously have the right to remain ignorant and uneducated about the separation of church and state, however, and you seem to have exercised that right in spades.

Where are you getting your data from? According to Gallup Poll, 78% of Americans identify themselves as Christian.
Gallup: 78 Percent of Americans Identify as Christians, Continuing Decline

83% say they are Christian in this ABC News Poll:

ABCNEWS.com : Poll: Most Americans Say They're Christian

Pew Forum found 78% say they are Christian:

Statistics on Religion in America Report -- Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life

An in-depth analysis on American Demographics also support Christianity being the dominant Religion in the US (76%). Atheists/Agnostics are less than 15%.

The ONE thing that even remotely alludes to being "anti-Christian" is ONE scene in an art movie depicting a Jesus covered in ants. The scene is part of a larger movie exploring the lack of governmental or societal attention and concern for the AIDS crisis when it first began in the 1980s. The artist was depicting the resistance to acknowleding the AIDS epidemic that was largely based on religious dogma and motives. He was criticizing the church, and has every right to do so. Just like Martin Luther condemned the church in his own way (and was also critcized for it by the conservatives of his day), so too can any artist. This isn't the Middle East.

Of course the Christian Science Monitor, hand wringing politicians and Fox News would choose that one scene out of an entire move, and (OH MY GOSH!) NAKED PEOPLE PICTURES to focus on. As if naked people and images aren't all over the museum already! From Greek pottery, to naked baby cherubs in religious frescoes.

Maybe the Xtians on this board can organize an "art burning" bonfire, or a "fig leaf placing" campaign like the Popes did in the middle ages.
So now your comparing greek pottery and naked baby cherubs to "homoerotic" art. Two naked brothers kissing and men in chains are far from "naked people"

He's more interested in promoting his pro-gay, anti-christian beliefs than presenting anything close to a fact.

Well YOU don't have that right either, and between both sides it's yall's that are the ones complaining about being offended 99% of the time. Kids are being stopped from wearing Crosses to school but libs can put this filth in museums at taxpayer expense. Complete hypocracy.

Oh, FFS, read the article! Tax monies are NOT being used to fund the exhibit.

What do you care? How many "provocative" images exist or have been painted through the centuries for the consumption of heterosexual males?

There's a difference between pornography and art. Only those of limited social maturity and sex hangups will confuse nudity with pornography in all instances.
