I'd take Sanders over 90% of the Republicans, and 80% of the Democrats in Washington.

They've already checked with the folks on Wall Street. Wall Street says no so the Republicans will say no.

Neither the Democratic Party or the Republican Party really control the American government anymore and neither do the American people. Wall Street and corporate interests pretty much call the shots.
Ron Paul, a Republican tried to pass a true "Audit the Fed" bill.
It got watered down by both Repubs and Dems to the point it was a worthless piece of paper that got passed.

You are partially right though. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats will allow it. The Fed was created with more loopholes and exemptions and exceptions to ever hope Congress can infiltrate it.

I know it isnt, BUT the problem is we have posters on here like andrea3821, and other far right myopia which which has no clue on what teh GM and other bailouts represent......Why wasnt GM allowed to fail??? Socialism is when money is poured into a system, corporate welfare.........These companies, in a true capitalist system would now have been defunct. Why have they been saved by the govt?????Its wrong. It is not Keynesian economics 101, and I know many of us realize this, while the far right believes bailouts are fine bcs they arent social programs . also bcs they never went to college, prolly, lol.

Legislators need to address this and create more statutory regulations. And I agree, if both sides sell out to special interests it may never happen, the point is at least an Independent is trying to make a dent...

Both sides have screwed the American people....we need to get more Indeps in office to decimate the corrupt system. They have already raped and pillaged the taxpayers.
