Sen. Sanders on Parker/Spitzer last night discussed legislation in the works now to reign in the Feds power after 9 trillion dollars in emergency loans were distributed in 2008 bailouts: 1.8 trillion Citibank: 2 trillion JPMorgan
Goldman Sachs 138 billion , as well as Caterpillar, McDonalds and many other corps...et. al....

Geithner and others were also brought to bear in closed meetings by several lawmakers...according to Senator Sanders, both Repubs. and the White House were trying to opppose this, but couldnt as taxpayers in many districts have made their opinions known to their state senators.

Notice the legislation is initiated by an Independent, which we need more of, imo.

Well Socialism is not a bad word. Goldman Sachs corruption and bailouts represents how "well" capitalism works. I am sick of corporate corruption, doesnt matter which party.

That's not capitalism.
With capitalism the weak fall on the wayside and get bought out or go bankrupt, not bailed out by the Fed Gov.

Thank you. Once again, I believe, you took the thoughts right out of my head. Many unavailable reps wished on you!

It's NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

The Republicans WILL NEVER ALLOW IT.

They've already checked with the folks on Wall Street. Wall Street says no so the Republicans will say no.

Neither the Democratic Party or the Republican Party really control the American government anymore and neither do the American people. Wall Street and corporate interests pretty much call the shots.
