Kill those drugs! Shoot them right in the face! That dog, too, thanks.

Well, sometimes to make an omelet (A.K.A. find "a pipe, a grinder, and a small amount of marijuana"), you've got to break a few eggs.

Apparently the owner of the home is copping a plea to possession of drug paraphernalia--they're dropping the possession charges. Wow, was that really worth shooting the poor guy's dogs and frightening this family. Sounds like this guy was a real drug lord...How much investigation did they do before authorizing a full-on SWAT team raid?

It's events like this that are the reason we need to decriminalize marijuana, and demilitarize this wasteful and stupid "War on Pot".

My family had our backyard searched for suspicion of growing marijuana when I was a teenager--they mistook the bamboo in my dad's garden in the backyard for pot plants. At least they actually knocked on the door and showed me the warrant in that case and were fairly polite, although it was unsettling to be a 15-year-old kid and have a fully armed drug task force at my door. It's easy to see how in a different circumstance---police barging into a home, the resident dosen't realize they're cops and gets his gun out for self-defense---tragedy could unfold.

Unfortunately when drug dealers raise pit bulls, rotties, dobermans, etc. to protect them or dogfight with the animal will need to be put down if they pose a threat to the arresting SWAT officers. Not the animals fault but its either the animal or the SWAT officers safety...no choice C here.

They also shot the guy's corgi in addition to his pit bull...that's a real threatening breed of dog.

it is such a waste of money to spend time busting and arresting people for trivial amounts of harmless drugs. nobody should be arrested for putting something in their own body until it hurts someone else.

The animals were caged.

Why do you need to shoot a caged dog?

The "War On Drugs" is just a war on people.
It's time to scrap it.

It's ridiculous how many people are in jail or prison just for possession of drugs.

There is no "war on drugs".

There is only the funneling of drugs to Native/Hispanic and Black communities.

It's a Hollywood Production. A made up effort to rid the US of the evil drugs. It is the US that is bringing drugs to the US.

Wow, what a bunch of surrender monkeys. The War on Drugs won't stop until all drugs, everywhere, are DEAD. If we have to throw every single individual into prison and sew up their orifices, so be it. We can't rest until the entire world is a police state.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to....destroy..some marijuana..
