Gracias America for supporting Spanish Television.
I can't wait to get "Foxnews en Espanol" (there's already a Foxsports en Espanol)

Spanish-Language Show Tops CBS, NBC in Key Ratings Demo - The Hollywood Reporter

Quote:
The no. 1 show on television Tuesday night among the key 18 to 49 demographic was Univision’s Spanish-language telenovela Soy Tu Dueña, according to Nielsen numbers.
Underscoring the growing influence of the Hispanic viewer, the show beat out Fox's Million Dollar Money Drop and reruns of ABC's No Ordinary Family, CBS' NCIS: L.A., NBC's Saturday Night Live: A Very Gilly Christmas and CW's Life Unexpected in the demo, which advertisers pay a premium to reach.

Americans say SI to what????

Well....

I'm still waiting for all the Spanish language programming BROADCAST ON CABLE OR T.V. to adhere to the FCC code for BROADCASTING IN SAP - Spanish to English (SUBTITLES).

Until this happens nothing is fair or equal. I pay for nearly 60 channels every month I can't watch because there's no TRANSLATION!

If they wanna live here free and clear, I should be able to watch every damn channel my cable provider offers.

PERIOD.

I've tried watching. Something like Sabado Gigante or some crazy title... the gals are kinda slutty but that's what TV's for anyway, to promote promiscuous values. And the guys on the shows like it that way. Guess the FCC doesn't know any eSpaniol, only eControl.

If they'd talk a little slower I could probably pick up some vocabulary but I guess the real trick is learning the body language.

From what I've seen Spanish television consists of soap operas, inane talk shows about 'celebrities' and much giggling, and soccer games broadcasts. It spreads stupidity as much as Fox news and CNN.

If you want to see racism at its worst, tune in to Spanish television. Much like watching American television back in the 50's.

As is the unspoken rule in Latin America, the lighter your skin, the furthur you go in this world!

The more attractive, dark-skinned Natives, where art thou?

True, all white except for some musicians, singers, and dancers. Just like '50s American TV.

Sun-tanning at a beach, by ambitious Latino's, could be the death of their careers.

Have you ever been overseas? To Europe, for example? Just about every channel is in a different language, and they don't always have subtitles... I watched "The Simpsons" in English while in Germany, and they didn't have German subtitles. Weird, huh?
