How many first ladies had their husband sign a bill to help them with their pet project. ?
Should this be allowed??? Should it be sent to the floor to spend more taxpayers money on the verbal fighting between each member of congress???? Or who ever.
Who has the most Dems. Or Reps. ??
But, I am sure Dems will say Reps. Reps. will say Dems.
The first ladies should not be involved in any type of bills that effect the American Citizens.

Also, A report is out that the unemployment is down. HOW IN THE HECK do they figure this??? Because not many people are singing up. HELLLLLOOOOO Their unemployment ran out they can not get anymore. So, what group do these people fall into.. . People who have jobs.
I know at least 12 people who can not get unemployment any longer.

Obama signed the bill because both houses passed it, same as happens with any other legislation.

And how dare the Obamas care about healthy lunches for school children! The horror!

The View | Obama signs historic school lunch nutrition bill

Obama used the occasion to laud lawmakers of both parties for passing the bill, saying it shows they can unite on issues that affect the future of the nation's children.

The first lady has no power to introduce legislation or to force Congress to pass it. The president may take as advisors whomever he likes, and in the 21st century, you'd expect a wife to be somewhere on that list. Get over it.

I know what you mean. She shouldn't care about fat azz/obese kids. Should allow parents to continue to feed their children whatever and whenever. Allow the schools to feed these kids garbage for lunch. Shouldn't try to teach them better food choices, when out with their parents.

Yup, that's it.

Why should she care. She's raising healthy children.

Hey Americans fix your own fat azz children.

New Flash: These fat kids with bad eating habits grow into fat adults. Now what. Taxpayers paying their hospital bills.

Yeah, we wouldn't want him to be worried about something as minor as our economic difficulties.

News Flash .... Michelle has an unhealthy situation right under her own roof. Namely, her tobacco-abusing husband. Maybe she should devote some attention to this problem.

One would think that, BEFORE whining about something the Government does, one should at LEAST have paid enough attention in 8th grade Civics class to comprehend HOW it is done.

The President [wether Republican or Democrat] does not introduce bills....he/she/it only signs bill into law that have been voted on and passed by each of the two houses.

Seems to me like a decent meal is more importent than Lady Birds wild flowers were.

Oh please. As if this really had anything to do with healthy lunches. It is union payback and government expansion of CONTROL.

Silly statements like "the Obamas 'care' " Really bring to question credibility alright.
