Must be nice! NC is not as gun friendly as one would think, and certainly not friendly relatively speaking in terms of self-defense laws.

In Arizona you are not required to have a CCW
permit, However I'd strongly suggest that people do
the lessons learned may just save your life as many
people have been killed or injured with their own gun.

If its very Republican, it certainly doesn't fall under Republican In Name Only....

The term RINO is subjective then. For me, it means anyone outside of a Goldwater libertarian style conservative. If you're on freerepublic's site, it means something completely different.

It was a pleasure to speak with you on the nuances of this matter.

Yeah but that fist, is not a weapon up in front of a gun! And most criminals these days, carry one or more guns.

I like this Jesse Helms approach (for all his other faults such as being a segregationist). Too bad Carrboro, NC got the Chapel Hill crazies before his plan of walling them up went into effect.

No. No special rights for government officials, even if the legislation is proposed by a Republican.

They can only control those who get guns legally. They're penalizing law abiding citizens.

What they need to do is screen better for mental illness, it's not the first time a crazy guy has had access to guns.

The Virginia Tech killer got guns too.

Anyone who wants a gun will be able to find one underground - where the criminals get their guns.

So there will be a 1000 foot buffer between law-abiding armed citizens and a would-be assassin and his intended target. They better hope Officer Tackleberry or Barney Fife is not protecting them.
