This really tells you something that four republicans are stepping down from their positions from the threats and fear of violence from the tea party extremists.

Unbelievable! So what is a centrist Republican to do in a state like Arizonia? Arizonia has been taken over run by nuts.

Well when one of the tea party members gets hopped up on Glenn Beck, Palin, or limbaugh and shoots someone it won't be because they listened to the hate mongering it will be because they were crazy.

They should start trying these people. It worked well against the KKK. They were able to go after the organization when members killed people. I see little difference here. Bring law suits in Federal court and go after their funding.

If these whiners are as stupid as the left in light of the facts that the tea party had nothing to do with these shooting, they need to leave. The problem with our government is far too many stupid people who cannot seperate fact from fiction.

Didn't say anything about a tea partier issuing a threat to harm. The title sure is catchy though and sex sells.

Apart from the first and second paragraph of the linked article, you mean?

Here, I'll help. Second sentence:

Quote:
Miller, a 43-year-old former campaign worker for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), said that verbal attacks and blog posts from members of the tea party had him fearing for the safety of his family...

I think that those people just needed an excuse to resign and it looked a bit better to say that they felt threatened than that they just didn't want to do their jobs. Such action is pathetic in my book. It is pretty much a normal part of being a politician that people won't like you. So, why not just get extra security and be done with it?
