Pick up a copy of Lotts book "More Guns, Less Crime". It's packed full of validated information that has been attacked by anti gunners but not one of them has been able to disprove what he says.
I don't think most law abiding people who carry guns have the training to react so quickly to such circumstances as to be able to shoot the criminal or criminals in order to stop them. It's my understanding that law enforcement offices do a lot of training in order to be able to react quickly, calmly, and accurately in such situations.
How many "X" military do you think are here in this country, capable of making those same exact decisions?
The bottom line here, as with any gun control measure, it will only affect Law Abiding Citizens. Criminals will still get and use anything they want.

I don't think it matters what evidence anybody posts supporting less restrictive gun laws. You'll find some fault with it or ignore it completely.
Your mind is made up already. You support more restrictions based on nothing other than your personal belief that they may in some way prevent violence.
