During last year's heated Tea Party protests against Obamacare, and without any apparent justification for not using the secure underground entrance, members of the no-whites-allowed Congressional Black Caucus strolled through the heart of the assembled Tea Party protest apparently seeking exploitable incidents of racism. Recording none, the members of the CBC simply took the initiative to accuse the mostly white protesters of yelling racial epithets and spitting on Rep. Cleaver without any proof and in direct contradiction to video evidence. Rep Lewis now seems bewildered as to why white males don't show more support for Democrat candidates.

"Lewis, who was a civil rights activist before being elected to Congress in 1986, said he's concerned the party is losing its diversity, which will make it difficult to reclaim the lost seats.

"We've got to go all out and get white voters, especially white men, to come back to the Democratic Party," he told The Ballot Box. "I just think it's important for the Democratic Party to roll out and try to reveal itself and not become a party that is split along racial lines."

Democrats losing too many white voters, says civil rights leader - The Hill's Ballot Box

Yes Rep. Lewis, the loss of white voters is truly a mystery wrapped in an enigma.

I don't know why Lewis cares so much. I don't. The Republican Party doesn't give a damn about their lack of black male voters (or hispanic male voters, Asian male voters, etc), so i don't see why the Democrats should obsess over white male voters.

In fact, i don't understand why folks care so much about what race votes for what party to begin with.

I'm glad to hear you are capable of reading the minds of an entire political party's constituency.

All the Black Republicans I'm sure agree with you...right?

At least you confined it to only MALES.... which obviously means that Republicans DO care about the lack of support of all the FEMALE Black, Asian, and Hispanic voters!!

Gotta keep those babes votin' fer us, eh?

Any chance minority voters who see their wages driven down by illegals will dump the party of open borders?

I think so.

At the end of the day, we all have bills to pay.

It makes no sense to me why Blacks mostly vote Democratic either......Abe Lincoln?

I don't exactly see how they've benefited from a party that only pays lip service to being tolerant.

Republicans give Blacks the credit for being able to be judged by their qualifications and don't insult them by saying you need a helping hand to be equal. Isn't that what MLK stood for?

Rep. John Lewis Expresses Concern Over Democrat's Loss Of White Male Voters
Is this really surprising? The racist Democrat party has made clear over the past several years that white people, especially those annoying straight white males who take up too much room, are not welcome in their 'inclusive' party.

Meanwhile, the GOP has kept their white male voters, and are gaining more 'diverse' voters by the year. They do this by being truly inclusive and non-judgemental against groups or people that are different from what they consider the norm. Something the bigoted Democrats could learn from.

If this is the platform any Republican chooses to try and get my vote, they will be out of luck, I work in a field where my income is fine, my only issue is NOT with illegals but with the influx of HB1's that are coming over as well as the outsourcing of JOBS .

Don't fool yourself. Both parties historically weather you like it or not have had an open door policy not only on our borders, but don't forget, its not ONLY those coming over from Mexico that has overstayed and are taking jobs.
Health Care, Education, Economy, Security, Taxes, Social Security, Corruption. These are whats important to me as a voter, now if the Republicans prove themselves by 2012, their candidate may have my vote, if not....
