Former Chairman of the RNC, Michael Steele, Makes Amends on the Rachel Maddow Show - Technorati Politics This will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I never really had a strong opinion on Steele before, I thought he was OK and basically liked thought he did a good job............but he has now confirmed his critics , that thought he should be ousted. The interview was fun to watch. Rachel was as usual very funny, punchy, and surprisingly cordial to Mr. Steele who, almost jubilant, seemed to love it. He agreed to stay longer. Things got even tastier when successive clips were shown of Rachel renewing invitations to the Chairman of the RNC, “anytime, anywhere”.http://www.mediaite.com/tv/michael-s...didnt-like-it/
The interview actually was a great example of actual discourse-- Two people from polar opposite political view points were able to discuss differences and problems as mature adults. There was no name calling, posturing or insulting language. If only the rest of our discourse was so mature we might be able to work towards solutions versus exacerbating problems.
The fact that you would possibly cast negative aspersions on this positive communication shows that you simply prefer argument and screaming to any real discourse that might result in progress.

What the interview is........is a ridiculous example of the left using disgruntled members of the other party as tools for their purpose and Steele exposes himself as a fool for playing along............their is a reason Steele had never been on the show during his tenure as chairman and would not be on if he were reelected, it is because he knew it would have been nothing like the love fest they were enjoying in this interview.

I agree with the previous poster. It is offensive. There was no need to put in your argument. What is the point.

Steele is an idiot plain and simple. If you ever watch the maddow show, which i'm sure most who attack her never have, she isn't like a beck or limbaugh that just uses ignorant attacks and name calling, maddow fights with her intelligence which steele is highly lacking.

Really..........I do watch it, as I am on the record of stating, it is a train wreck I just cant seem to turn away from..........your bias speaks for itself.
Don't like her period, so would not watch her show ever. Something about her that rubs me the wrong way, don't make this something it ain't.
Does not matter one way or the other what one feels about her sex, it is what it is and that is it.
I do understand from an acquaintaince, that all and all, the segment went pretty well, that is it in a nutshell.
