That's the point. At least Mubarak has been of help to us. We have no idea what we'll get instead.
The point is that your side has been claiming that Obama is a tyrant since he was elected, but you don't have a problem with tyrants in other countries. If Obama was pro-Mubarak, the right would be saying he's pro-dictators.
So in other words, you are in favour of dictatorship?
Why do you play silly word games instead of looking at the facts. Mubarak is not the best, but when he leave YOU will see real tyranny, and I mean the genuine article. If you have a weak stomach, you might want to stop following the news for, say.... the next 100 years.
I'm conservative, but I don't get all my opinions from Rush Limbaugh. I doubt many do. I prefer democracy in Egypt. I support the protestors and hope they will get real democracy. I'd hate to see all of their protesting produce another dictatorship that's hostile to the US.
My sentiments exactly regarding Rush. Some people are so misinformed and their trite broad generalizations are pitiful.

I know! I've never listened to Rush or Glenn Beck even once, but liberals say I'm getting all of my ideas from them.
There are exceptions to the rule. But let's face it, most conservatives here and in congress get their talking points from Rush and the Heritage Foundation.
I'd like to know what Tea People and Rush fans think about his support for that tyrant Mubarak. You guys have been complaining that Obama is a tyrant since he's been in office, yet you don't seem to have a problem with tyranny in other nations including Egypt.
I bet if the Obama administration was in favor of Mubarak staying in power, guys like Rush would be saying the opposite. Rush would be saying that Obama supports dictators.
If he is pro Mubarrak, I disagree but I don't care too much.
If he is pro us foreign/military aid to Mubarak he isn't a conservative. He's a war mongering mouthpiece. lol
trade with all nations, entangling alliances with none.
Please explain how that is freakin' obvious because for me it's not.
The official line is this was all spontanious. That it just started as a few protestors and grew from there. Sounds reasonable.
Only problem is the protestors showed up from day one with nicely English printed signs. How did this happen? What Western country made these signs for them?
And the protestors appear to be young, healthy and relatively well-off. (By Egyptian standards). Why should they have a grievance with Mubarak?
Someone besides the Egyptians want Mubarak out. Just don't know why though, as he has been friendly with the West.
Only thing I can think of is maybe Mubarak wanted to stop trading oil and other goods with the U.S. dollar? Just a guess. Iraq wanted to switch to the Euro for trading oil. And we invaded. Everytime Iran talks about switching to the Euro we start saber-rattling.
The military has been worn down in perpetual war. No way anyone in the West could get away with invading Egypt. So just start an overthrow with the Egyptian people. Just a theory. I could be wrong. But how did those signs get there so quick?
And Arab countries always seem to end up with Iranian style governments after some kind of upheaval.
