I saw the commercial and I thought, at first, that it was going to be a bold Pro-Tibet bit. I thought that would take a lot of moral courage on the people at Fox to have allowed something that controversial to run when they had rejected a lot of other ads. Naturally, the commercial was nothing of the sort and by the end of it I ended up feeling like it was stupid, in poor taste, and exploitative all at the same time. I wonder how this will affect Google's buyout talks with the Groupon people.

I also thought it was pretty stupid. But, hey, if it manages to offend the Chinese and the Tibetans ........
I don't know if offensive is the right word, but they do leave me with that wtf feeling by taking a serious issue and then in the end trivializing them: look at this terrible problem, but hey who cares look at the great deals I get...
