Oak Park, which borders Chicago's most violent area, has stricter gun laws than Chicago. Not unusual for Oak park to have zero murders.

but...but. but.. What about Chicago... but. but..

People in Oak Park can easily drive to another suburb and buy a gun. As can people in Chicago. Gun control laws don't seem to influence the crime rate. I don't see any pattern, either among countries or specific states that lack of gun control, or strict gun control influenced anything one iota. The whole debate between both sides is retarded and I doubt either believe their arguments.

How ironic that the Illinois State Rifle Association felt it had to send it's representative to argue for more guns in a community that had no gun murders.

That's how these rifle associations work. Too many murders? - soln: more guns! Too few murders? soln: more guns!

great, then you would not mind looking at the data concerning murders in the city of Kennesaw, Georgia.

they have a really low murder rate, even lower than oak park illinois, and they require just about everyone to have firearms in their city.

Look anti-gun control advocates are really just gun lobbyists. Their goal is to sell more guns, so they come up with reasons why people need to buy more guns. It is very simple.

To the sane, there is little doubt that fewer guns would result in fewer gun deaths.

The reality is that what this nation would need to do to get fewer gun deaths and get the guns out of the hands of criminals will naturally result in fewer gun sells and make it more difficult to be a gun owner.

Gun nuts are saying to lower those gun deaths we aren't interested in doing anything that will impact our ability to get guns or manufacturers ability to produce guns or sellers ability to sell guns.

This is the debate and one side of the debate is clearly insane.

Freedom, liberty, and guns have relation to one another only in the minds of the insane.

The right claims that the government is indeed running roughshod over the people and the president is occupying the Whitehouse illegally. When are we gonna see the guns come out?
