They also said that they would NOT be running anyone for President of Egypt and would back a secular Democracy. I n=know the thought of Muslims voting is horrifying to Israel but it is none of our business

Pretty useless article. So, where's the discussion about negotiations with Mubarak or at the very least something that we don't know about a 23 year old assassination which had nothing to to with the Muslim Brotherhood.

How predictable to see the media and the rest of the left actually defend the Muslim Brotherhood. The facts are out there about this group. They are evil. Go read/listen to the words of their spiritual advisor. Go read their own words. Pure evil. They defend strapping bombs to children. They are NOT and will never be a friend to the US or global good.

They do have something in common with the far left though.......they too hate Israel and want to see Israel destroyed.

BucsLose: Can you back up anything you said with a source other than the Heritage Foundation?

Would their own words work for you? If so, the information is out there.

Yes. The philosophy and intentions of the Brotherhood are explicitly described in their Charter and in the words of their founders and leaders. It's there for all to see and it's clear.

So why does the left defend such Islamic radicals? For the same reason they defend the Iranian regime, Hamas, etc. These forces have an intermediate goal of driving the US from the area, a goal the left would love to see accomplished. The left believes that the US has no vital interests in the Middle East (or for that matter anywhere else) and should retreat to within its own borders. The more anti-American regimes, the better.

It's really as simple as that. The Islamists and the left have the same short-term goal - drive America out.

If by "Information" you mean that Glenn Beck video that for some reason does not mention the person making those comments by name, leaving us to take GB's word for who he is, then my question stands. The possible threat I see here is that the Muslim Brotherhood may unknowingly contain militants, or that members may fraction off, the way it happened decades ago, and become militant if they don't get what they want.  Otherwise, there is no further threat yet because nothing has happened yet. We should be happy for Egypt. Isn't democracy supposed to be a good thing? Isn't that what so many countries said they wanted for Iraq? Afghanistan? Why is it bad for Egypt? It's a shame that some in the media have spent so much time since 9/11 vilifying over a billion people globally because of their faith, and now they would rather stick to that diatribe than confuse their viewers and listeners by admitting it is debatable whether the Muslim Brotherhood may be good for Egypt. I'd love to see someone post a link to something other than a member of the Heritage Foundation (and that does exclude Hannity, Rush and GB.) explaining a current threat from the Muslim Brotherhood.

So far this is all I have found, still a few years old.

Mission accomplished at least in the Middle East. Bring out troops home now as no one should have to serve under the duplicitous azzhat-in-chief.

I wonder if Obama would support being unConstitutionally removed from office himself as he has supported in Egypt? Doubt it.
