President Threatens Cuts in Social Security

THE ONE SAYS “The average American isn’t going to be motivated to oppose Republican plans to cut spending if this is what we were to cut. But tens of millions depend on Social Security checks. In turn they have tens of millions of children and grandchildren who won’t like to see their parents or grandparents suffer when the checks stop coming.”
“But sometimes a leader has to employ a strategy of selective duress in order to ensure that the people get what they should have rather than letting them settle for only what they want.”

CHANGE!
The SOB I believe might have accidentally let this one go without his teleprompter.

The old are a lost cause. The young mind is less stubborn and open to radical utopian ideas.

Did you miss this statement: A Satirical Look at Recent News (It's right at the top, just after the author's name.) Or do you not know what satire is?

No surprise there--ObamaCare will also result in the eventual elimination of Medicare Advantage, according to IBD & the WSJ.

Toss in his war on the poor and middle class people in this country thanks to the minimum wage law, as well as EXPLODING gasoline & grocery prices thanks to Bernanke the Counterfeiter, and it makes you wonder if there's anybody he really represents besides unions, trial lawyers, and environmentalists?

Doesn't look like it folks.

I once had a co-worker who was absolutely furiuos that Art Buchwald had quoted Nixon as wanting to sell Alaska back to Russia to balance the budget. He didn't realize that Buchwald was a humorist.

Well, people have to actually read the link. It looks like someone did. I love the faux outrage of those who didn't.
