Hey..use your clunker cash..$4500 will reduce that price. Then throw in a government subsidized car loan and voila..you can go driving anywhere you want as long as you get home before the battery dies

Yes because a bunch of fat cat career politicians seem to think they understand the demand better than those who do it for a living.
After all those same all knowing folks enjoyed an approval rating lower than GWB's at its lowest point.

I wouldn't be shocked by the Volt, it's been on it's way for a decade.
Like the Prius, it will never attract a wide audience. Hopefully it will make some technical advances
