What part of having $300-$400 billion of annual interest on somebody else's debt is it you do not understand. Reagan and the Bushes increased the national debt by more than $9 trillion. Do you think foreign banks have a "Loan To U S Free" policy? The common denominator is tax cuts for the wealthy.

To put things in perspective this government spends about $100 billion each year on education and less than that on the infrastructure.

Amazing the Left still tries to blame Bush for the failure of obama and the democrats. Thankfully, that narrative no longer works with the public (see 2010 election). After obama and the dems have increased this nation's debt by $5 TRILLION in just 4 years, simply amazing to behold.

They best come up with a new tactic, cause the old one no longer works.

Paying $300-$400 billion of annual interest on our debt while spending about $100 billion on education and less than that on the infrastructure is something from which we may never recover.

Because of the "great recession" all local governments have less tax revenue to fund their needs and so I guess one might say that "trickle down" finally worked.
You've been listening to too much NPR. The Left loves spouting that the Republican field is too thin. The reality is, there are too many. So many good candidates to choose from, any one of them better than what we have now. But then, a can of corn could probably lead better than Obama.

The Right is in total denial. They remind me of an analogy my maternal grandmother used to use. "That (man) (woman) reminds me of someone standing and arguing with a road sign."

Blame Obama for not solving every problem in a couple years as a way to divert attention away from you own severe flaws, Pubs, but you can't run away from the facts. Bush's presidency was a collosal failure and we continue to pay for it.
I think you and the left have serious MeNTaL issues over this....
Oh and by the way,Obama could solve a crossword puzzle!

Well put we need to inflate GDP to make our debt cheep enough to pay for. Pushing minimum wage along with putting more money into circulation by giving money to everyone (Debt free) will do this.

Bush was refused admission to the University of Texas law school. His home state where his father was a well known politician. He continued to become governor of that great state and his first official act was to request new driver's license numbers for he and Laura to cover up the fact that he had been convicted of drunk driving. You wanna know the real George W. Bush?

That's so true. The disaster was initiated with the Reagan deregulation orgy, aided and abetted by Clinton and both Bushes that allowed the fundamentalist ultra-rich capitalists to rape, pillage and plunder everything in sight. Sadly Obama's continuing the same corporate wh*re policies of his predecessors. What a major disappointment.

Why do you think he got elected? No one will get elected that isn't for helping the ultrarich until we get a new party that is against the ultra-rich.

"Lifes hard, its harder if your stupid!"
It's even harder if you're really stupid and don't know the difference between "your" and "you're". Not surprising considering how the right worships stupidity.
