I support almost all unions, but NFL players are millionaires. Even the league minimum is over $250k. They are all wealthy. They should quiet down, let go of their greed and get ready for next season.

In the words of the great philosopher Chris Rock, "Michael Jordan is rich, the man who pays Michael Jordan is wealthy." The issue isn't what the workers makes but rather how the pie is split.
Frankly, being a left wing socialist that I am I would love to see the NBA players just quit and form their own player owned league. Cut out the middle man and turn the Professional Basketball League into an ESOP.

The players aren't greedy. With the abuse and injury their bodies sustain their careers don't last very long and most can be easily replaced with newer and younger players. I think it's the owners that are greedy. All they do is sit in their boxes and watch the game. But yet they want to extend the regular season by 2 more games. Your bodies can only take so much.

I believe that the number of games would change to 18 but the number of games played by each player would remain 16 meaning the backups would get more playing time. I have no idea why they rejected that. They were also going to increase the number of players and add another week off.

And you should MYOB.
Pro athletes posses rare talents and their income derived from people willingly spending their own money to watch them utilize those talents.
Don't like, don't watch or attend.
Easy huh?

as nice as that may sound in lala land, you know it wouldnt work.
i agree with the concept that it doesnt really matter how rich players are, they have their right to get as much as they can for themselves.
I won't shed one tear to never see an illiterate millionaire football player attempt to put words together in a cohesive sentence.
