This is a simple question, have we as a country started to pull out of the recession? Yes or No?
I'm not talking about the mountains and mountains of government figures and estimates that can be used on either side to back up your argument, I'm talking about in your every day life and the people around you are you starting to see us pull out of this recession, do you see things getting worse or do you think things are staying about the same?
We're in for another round of housing problems in the next year or so. We may be starting to recover...but the housing issues and the national debt are going to be problematic.
No changes. Barely still any jobs, housing market is still in the tanks. A Blockbuster and a Boater's World just closed down recently. There are many vacant office store spaces in my area with For sale/lease/rent signs.
We are slowly pulling out of this depression, the worst since the great one. It seems it will take us years. If you have a job, be sure to thank your dirty for each day you are able to work.
No:
The banks are broke using an accounting trick called "future value" to make like they are solvent.
Unemployment is at a record high, but Washington doesn't count those who stopped looking for work.
The President is nuts and raised the national debt by about 50% financing make work jobs for government unions.
Tried to ad another unfunded entitlement with Obamacare.
We're screwed.
Oh, as for the main topic, things have been getting a bit better where I'm at.
How, are you into oil enjoying the $4+ dollar gas?
