Just great. What I escaped is coming back here and you can bet, the supermajority of the growth in the Hispanic population is due to illegal immigration, and illegals giving birth to multiple kids
What are all those hispanics doing in Mississippi! Another state that surprises me is Vermont.
The state that surprises me more is Texas. It is easy to have higher growth percentage in states where the population is low to begin with. For example, if a hypothetical state had only one Hispanic person, and another joins, the growth would be 100%. But in a state like Texas, the number of Hispanics is very high, so a 40% growth is quite large.
I can tell you that these incredible population increase rates are not because long-time American Hispanics suddenly decided they could afford to have huge numbers of children in this economy.
Those Spanish surnamed that have lived in the USA for generations have the same costs of living problems as other Americans and are not having extremely large numbers of children to account for these population explosions.
A male friend of mine was in nursing school and he was telling me about his first day in labor and delivery. I asked him if his hispanic patient who was 32 was ok with a young male nurse assisting w/delivery. He said well considering this was her 12th baby she was pretty much used to the drill.
But he said that his patient didn't win the prize for the most births-one of his fellow students patient's (spanish) was going for number 17!

American hispanics also didn't suddenly decide to sell their homes and move to other parts of the country. There is no reason they are leaving their traditional home regions and relocating en masse to other states just for the fun of it.
When an entire village shows up overnight, you would never suspect that it's those long-time Americans from New Mexico of Tejanos.
What's ridiculous is that Obama is promising all the Latin American nations much more immigration opportunities for them to rid themselves of their excess populations.
Do you do your own research on the subject, or do you get the ideas from various sources?
Because I see it first hand and I have a lot of American-hispanic friends and there is no way they can afford many more kids than other Americans for some reason.
And I live in an area of high unemployment and low wages and people are pouring over the border to have kids here that they couldn't afford back home where the cost of living is very low, but can only afford tremendous numbers of kids here because they get food stamps, free housing, free health care, WIC and all the rest.
They were going to have 12-15 kids anyhow, even if those kids don't get a daily meal - how much better to just have them here where they become cash cows.

And at age 32, she's most likely a grandmother or soon to be grandmother.
That's the other "advantage" they have in reproducing. Whereas American generations tend to be about 30 years, the hispanics start having children at extremely young ages. Over half have at least one baby before age 20, many have 3 or 4.
So by the time the American couple is getting around to having their first baby, the foreign hispanic mother already has a dozen and is already becoming a grandmother on top of it.

Exactly. it's not the long-time settled Hispanics that have been here since the 1800s and early 1900s, those migrating Hispanics that are moving all over the U.S. are minimum 75% illegal immigrant leeches and their anchors
