Corporations' goal in life is to make as much profit as they can. If they can make more money by appealing to non-English speakers, then they will reach out to them. I don't see anything wrong with that. You know, free market and all that. There is no conspiracy by these companies to dilute English in the US, they see an undertapped market and want to get those customers. That's all it is.

Exactly. They hope Hispanics will shop at Target because Target spoke to them in "their language".
Advertising knows no boundaries.

Uh: "mestizo" ain't a race. Word is many East Indian and "white" mix people are mestizo too and they ain't "Hispanic" except for the ones who live in LatAm.

I mean, heck, Amazon released a recent commercial featuring a gay couple for what? So they can get some gay customers. Like you said, advertising knows no boundaries.
