There are only 50 million Hispanics in this country counting those here illegally and 265 million non-Hispanics. Are you implying we should be a Spanish speaking nation based on those numbers? Are you not aware that there are 23 countries on the Western Hemisphere already that are Hispanic dominated? We aren't one of them. Isn't 23 countries enough?

First White European to discover native americans. The same native americans whose tribes mixed with the spaniards who are now the current mestizo race in the Americas. Hispanics are 86 percent mestizo. THe hispanics ancestors were in the Americas first.

Sailing under the Spanish flag...

Even the notion of being the first European to "discover" the New World is disputed...

Oddly enough, you choose to attack the phrase instead of refuting the message. Why?

I will make it simple for you....you cannot defend the indefensible.
Oddly enough, you use the phrase with an ethnic perception of a welfare recipient...

86% of Hispanics are mestizo? Are you confusing Mexicans for "Hispanics" again?

Even where someone IS "mestizo," their claim to being "here first" would most properly be for lands SOUTH of the United States. Not all tribes were the same. The Mayan and Aztec civilizations - which dominated Central America - did not extend into the United States.

In fact, the Apaches had a real problem with Mexicans invading into their territories in the SW United States, and fought them.

Nobody would ever say a British person has a right to lands in Russia because they are both of the same phenotype on the same continent.... or that Chinese have a right to settle anywhere in Thailand they want because, hey, it's all Asian, right?

So pandering to illegal alien Spanish speaker is ok by you? It certainly isn't to reach Hispanic citizens because they usually know English.

New World? What does that mean? The U.S. isn't the entire world. It is a country by itself and like it or not we aren't a Hispanic country in identity. Why aren't you requesting for these ads to be in several different languages since we have immigrants here from all over the world here. Very telling you are.
