what are your thoughts?

Logistically impossible.

you know rita, i think that choices should always be up to the buyer. there are many stores around me which might pass the govts safety standards, but they don't pass mine. the result is that they don't get my business. imo, competition and the threat of litigation provide adequate regulation. having some bureaucrat around to pester those trying to earn an honest living is a waste of taxpayer money and it diverts the energy, enthusiasm and creativity of businesses, into complying with mindless rules.

ridiculous ey? tell me, if you think this is such a stupid idea, would you support the withdrawal of food regulations across the board? if they don't regulate kitchens in people's homes, then why do they spend so much time and money regulating restaurants, supermarkets and farms?

Just think what our kitchens would be like if the government did this....

We'd all be eating out eating what the government says is healthy for us

How about the government fixes these crappy toilets that get clogged every 20 or so flushes first before screwing up our kitchens.........
but the toilet thing saved us from global warming. didn'y you know that?

what 4th amendment? never heard of the patriot act? that fixes the 4th amendment. besides, don't you think it would be a good idea for the govt to protect us from ourselves? they do it in so many other areas of life, why not food? we'd all be saved
