Well, you'll have to go back to the Southern Democrats of 50 years ago to substantiate that. Now, those same segregationist areas are solidly Republican.

No I am talking about the current Democrats. the ones that think welfare is a program to help poor blacks, because they think black people can not succeed without the help of the rich white man.

And even though many of the southern democrat states became republicans, most of the southern democrat politicians remained Democrats.

The welfare that you describe hasn't existed since the mid-1990s. I think you should read about it here: Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act before you make uninformed posts.

Oh? You mean like Strom Thurmond?, the Southern segregationist who moved to the Republican Party in 1964?

I didnt describe any kind of welfare what so ever, so maybe you should actually make a point about something that was said before making uninformed posts.

Well, then when you said, "I am talking about the current Democrats. the ones that think welfare is a program to help poor blacks, because they think black people can not succeed without the help of the rich white man," what welfare programs were you describing and which Democrats? I don't know any Democrats that feel that way but I guess that's the whole point of a strawman argument.

Moreover, you do realize that the largest beneficiaries of programs for the poor are white women and children.

Check out the hilarious uproar on dKos today over Maureen Dowd referring to "the one" as "Barry". To hear them rant, you'd think she used the "n" word!
