So, he wasn't right for doing that, I assume this is what you mean right?

So now, if he is trying to correct a mistake by not making it again, people are going to go after him for that?

Seriously, there is enough crap to worry about. The man is paying for a private army to invade Libya, as we speak. Lets focus on real problems.

Did Obama share his motivations with you?
Do tell.

yes there is enough crap he does for us to worry about, but here you are defending him.

I don't like what he's doing in Libya right now. No fly zone, ok, boots on the ground, not ok.

But complaining about no opening day pitch, really?

Some people are never satisfied. You can find plenty of posts in other threads where I have said I disagree with the administration.

President Obama sits out Opening Day

“You know, a lot of folks focused on the fact that I filled out my bracket,” Obama said.

Watch Obama’s prior pitches. The 2009 pitch doesn’t show that the ball didn’t make it to the plate with Pujols positioned almost on top of the plate.

Obama’s First Pitch 2009 All-Star Game
Did you notice how much more like a man of his age who hadn't warmed up at all he threw in the 2010 game? I think he just didn't know how far 60 ft. is when he tried in 2009.

Experience usually helps one and in this one instance it certainly did help him. Maybe he should have run a mom and pop business a year or so before running for President.

Is this what political discussions have been reduced to? Obama's arm strength and accuracy?

Seriously, I'm not a huge Obama fan, but how well he throws a baseball is irrelevant.

And the way this Country is currently in the now going, we are headed deeper and deeper into a ditch. Thanks to Obama's pitch.

I know it's irrelevant. But so is a lot of what we do here on C-D...

Why would he waste his time uniting Americans behind their national sport? Obama is as American as apple baklava!

What planet are you on? No one gives a damn about baseball anymore. And it's about as American and Apple Pie as a Jaegerschnitzel. He'd get more publicity if he threw out the first ball at a water polo game.

That said, i still love the game, but this aint 1950.
