ON many threads here, lots of people say things that make me wonder if they think we really actually exist.
On the topic of gay marriage anybody who writes... "gays have the same right to marry we do"... DOES NOT believe that we exist.
They think that there is only ONE sexual orientation and all gay people are just straight people who are 'choosing' an alternative lifestyle. They act as though the whole thing is made up or some thing we've just decided to become. Obviously we don't have the 'same rights' you do, because you can get married according to YOUR SEXUAL ORIENTATION.
It's a really stupid argument and some people actually think they sound smart for saying it.. here's the problem.... THE LAW is setup for people of YOUR sexual orientation to marry ACCORDING TO IT ONLY.
IT's demeaning that people don't actually think that I exist and that i 'chose' something. and that i can simply 'marry according to them'.
Why don't they fall in love with and have sex with people ONLY of their same gender then.

and why are there so many posts about sexual orientation? I know, I get a little tired of it. Do hetersexuals think gays are real? I don't know how all stright people believe but most of us do think people are people, some are good, some bad, some hard working, some lazy, some liberal, some conservative but all people are real and all should be treated equally. Are all gays born that way? Heck no one knows for sure. My feeling has always been it is a combination of the way one is born and that persons enviornment, but that doesn't mean I am right. I think there are many answers or reasons.
