It would also benefit people to have fewer kids.
Where do they think jobs will come from for their kids when they can't find one for themselves?
That said, I personally don't know anyone who wants a job that doesn't have a job already.
I had some friends recently visiting from the States and they didn't know anyone either.
Maybe it's the market in the city that I'm from, but I'm just not seeing it.
Not if you are poor and an immigrant.
The more kids you have the more benefits you receive.
Only 21% of US born citizens have kids.
47% of "visiting immigrants" have kids.
Are you going to tell the illegals to stop having kids ?
They have kids specifically for the benefits the US system provides.

A big connondrum conservatives have (especially social) is the fact that telling people to have less kids is anti-family. Furthermore, it is anti-Catholic.
Many jobs are gone and they aren't coming back. Your best bet is to become trained in something that cannot be sent overseas. For example, my wife is a downstream chemist for a big oil company. It's impossible to send her job overseas.
Education is a good area also. It's a bloodbath employment/layoff wise right now, but in the long run, education will come back. This also is a job that cannot be sent overseas.
My advice to anyone with children is make sure they get educated in something that can't be outsourced. Auto-mechanic, HVAC, engineering, medical profession, computer repair etc. are things that come to mind.
I think a harsh reality for many college educated parents that will be hard to accept is that many of us will have children who will have no choice but to take jobs that require no college education whatsoever. Many parents are already in this boat.
We can continue our partisan bickering, but it does not address the issue at hand.
All the partisan bickering is hurting our country, no party has all the answers, we need to start communicating, and attempting compromise, or we will just stay stuck in this crappy situation while fighting with and insulting each other. Both parties are controlled by lobbyists and big business money. We the people need to take back our country, average people need to get involved and demand change. We don't have to agree with each other, but we have to try and work with each other, or nothing will get done.
Before you said republicans never promised jobs, watch the video:
Why after getting elected, jobs are no longer a concern?
You expect the R's to just snap their fingers and fix what Obama destroyed, that fast, eh?
The R's are trying to undo the many wrongs of the left, but the left still has most of the power, and is standing in their way.
Next question.....
Where are the jobs.....all overseas. And why not, it's cheaper for companies. I had a computer virus and contacted Norton. I think the guy who helped me was in India. And when is the last time you bought something that said made in the USA.
Cut the spending and cut the deficit and the jobs will return. The biggest barrier to our economy is our deficit. Corporations are not going to take risks until they have certainty looking forward for the USA.
not taking risk until you have every single factor 100% in your favor is really not taking risk, is it? how can some companies be making money by the boat load while the others sit on the sideline waiting for better terms?
Quote:
Of course Obama/Reid plan doesn't include cutting the spending/deficit does it?
Obama has begun to slow the growth in the deficit. Bush's last fiscal year (2009) added $1.885 trillion in debt, Obama's first fiscal year (2010) added around $1.65 trillion.

Ever wonder why? Ever wonder if it is intentional to put up roadblocks for the return of jobs? To find the Enemy Within just look at those refusing to do what is best for the survival of THIS country. Look at those who refuse to be fiscally responsible.

No they're not going to create jobs because they don't have to, the government will give them billions in the form of tax breaks, tax exemptions, bailouts, sweetheart deals, no strings attached giveaways, etc.
You expect the R's to just snap their fingers and fix what Obama destroyed,
this wasn't Obama's economic crisis. you mean what bush destroyed, while bush's blunders took over 40% of the market capitalization, over $7 trillion dollars, out of the market. Bush and the fed handed out Trillions of dollars to banks and businesses to stave off his Great Recession. let us not forget the 8 million private sector jobs we lost under bush Ezra Klein - Who can we blame for job losses?
that fast, eh?
