Last month 70,000 plus demonstrated the at the WI capital. That demonstration did nothing to fix the problems that face America. You take 70,000 people and split them up into 2000 person groups and demonstrate in front of 35 Targets you'll change the way Target does business. The next week hit Best Buy and so on till corporations find it uncomfortable to write that big check to get the crazies elected. Walker wanted to cut off the union fund to the Democrats, the real Americans should cut off the funds to the Walkers.

there is a grocery store that was the target of a union locally. The union hired non-unionized employees to stand outside all day to protest the unionized wages inside.. Still trying to figure that one out)..

Customers stopped going to the store.. the store closed down.. all the union employees now have no jobs..

Sounds rather stupid..

Protest all you want. I'll walk right past you without thinking twice about it if the store has what I'm shopping for.

Also, most people don't care - they'll just think you're nuts, and don't forget, half of them voted for the candidate you're upset about the store supporting...

IOW, it would be a waste of time. But if it'll make you feel better, go for it.

I think we need to get Corporations off of their huge amounts of cash. They would be more that willing to put that trillion or so to work, if they had reason to do so. The only reason to do so, is people to be buying their products. Corporations make decisions based on financial realities, not generally emotion. If you want Target, or whoever, to hire more people, I wouldn't suggest slowing their business as a way to try to do that.

The important connection is the one between major corporations and our politicians. At this point a vast section of Washington is strongly swayed by private interests, and until the people let their representatives know that they will not tolerate cronyism, we'll remain in this state.

Walk right by if you want no one will even try to stop you. However if 2000 people stand in front of 35 targets for a month and you'll see a CEO collecting a golden parachute. Then other CEOs will take notice.

That is entirely true and somehow the American people will have to resolve it. We can, over time, get those out of office. That requires an electorate that is aware of what they do, not what they say they do. Classic example in a State, Walker in Wisc. The people in Wisc do have the ability to correct that mistake fairly quickly. The people in Fla, unfortunately, have to wait 4 yrs to correct it, and Scott can, and appears to be moving rapidly on, doing a lot of damage to the State.

Not true corporations make decisions based on the bottom line of the next quarter. Look how many corporations will destroy their future earnings for a larger bonus today.

Default support WI businesses not participating the unionists

Corporations do not pass legislation.

If you have a problem with corporations, unions included, dump the politicians who pass legislation in return for financial support.

WI is all about the Dems losing their money and the unions losing the coin needed to control the politicians. If you were to objectively look at the aftermath of Walker's legislation you would see the unions existence contingent upon members willingness to join. No one is stopping the unions from existing, its just that they need to earn their members loyalty and funds instead of conscripting them. Obviously the unions are not feeling confident.

Finally the taxpayers have a champion in Walker.

Anti corporation nonsense is typical socialist class warfare.

It's the choice in legislators that matter.
