Can that be regarded as electioneering, and is it illegal in WI?

The unsuccessful always want more socialism, since they cannot, for reasons of laziness or lack of intelligence, compete in a competitive, capitalistic society.

Part of me wishes all of the democrats in WI retake all of the major positions, so that all of the wealth producers will leave WI, and it will end up like IL; bankrupt and totally destroyed.

IL is the Titanic on April 12, 1912 at about 1:30 am, and if the morons in WI want to jump onto that ship and ride it right to the bottom as every business owner and corporate executive leaves the state - just like I am watching occur here in NY - they are welcome to do so. WI is ALREADY the 14th worst state in terms of total tax burden, but according to the far left psychotics here, they want even more of the income producers' wealth.

This whole nonsense in WI is just hilarious; so many other states like OH have already done what WI is trying to, so I am honestly not even sure why the media keeps focusing on WI when like 30 other states have already abolished collective bargaining for public workers...

The Left has failed completely on this issue, if they think a pyrric victory in WI will somehow regain nationally their lost war, they are insane - the train has long left the station. They might win the WI battle - but they lost the war years ago.

The Party Line - It is your fault we private sector executives cannot manage to survive unless we get more tax breaks. It's not our fault. It’s yours.

The real problem is American Industry believes it does not need many educated workers and it can get cheaper less educated people elsewhere to do the same jobs. Why should they pay taxes to create an educated population in Wisconsin or anywhere else?

The attack on public sector unions is just an extension on businesses attacks on any unions anywhere. They really believe they can train their own workers and then condemn them to staying on by eliminating any other business that might pay higher wages. They want a monopoly on jobs as well as supply. Just another term for thief with a pen.

Part of me almost wishes that, too. It would be utterly priceless to see WI residents have their "Oh, crap! What have we done? We just screwed ourselves!" moment when they get their ever-skyrocketing tax bills.

Yep. All aboard the failboat.

The pro-public employee union entourage is very limited in scope. They've had to concentrate in just one state because there aren't enough of them to present anything but a laughably pathetic response in any of the numerous other states that are flinging the public employee union albatross off their necks.

Complete the historic analogy, Ken. What happened next?

Answer: Hitler created state-sponsored unions. Much like the Dems are trying to do in WI.

Again, they've been forced to focus on just one state while numerous others also abolish public employee union collective bargaining.

Why? Lack of support. They only have enough support to make a semi-decent show at opposition in just one of those states.

Yes of course, if you are trying to run a business - your an evil capitalist if you try to manage your costs

Spare us the 19 year-old college student dogmatic nonsense, and grow up.

I have FT paid employees, and a family as well. If I can re-locate my business to a less expensive place to operate, then I will, just as every other business owner would.

And spare us the strawman of not wanting to pay taxes, it is the amount that is in question. Given that the trend of government keeps growing - even in places like school systems with declining enrollment, prison systems with fewer prisoners, and increased, irrational bureacracy that serves only to provide make-work jobs for friends of politicians and cheap votes for said pols, we the taxpayers are saying: "enough is enough!"
