To allow naturalized U.S. citizen to become President of the United States?

I do think so! They are being treated like second class citizens. That is wrong. We need to open the presidency to naturalized citizens. There is no reasonable reason not to do it.

Absolutely yes.

Will it actually happen? Not likely anytime soon, given that an unfortunately large coterie of crackpots seemingly never learned that Hawaii is a state

A most definite NO. It is bad enough our country is slowly being sold out to outside foreign influences just so some politician can satisfy his/her own self interests.

A loud and most definite NO. I also think anyone promulgating it should be tried for treason, then hung by the neck until dead.

I get very nervous every time someone starts seriously talking about changing the Constitution, because every time it happens, the nuttiest nuts come out of the wacko woods.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

And no, Arnold Schwarzenegger shouldn't be President. He and John Milius should go do King Conan.

Burn the constitution, it has been nothing more than a failed experiment.

Well, I used the word "reasonable". It is not reasonable to assume that someone who was not born here does not have allegiance to the United States. McCain was born abroad, too. Whether your parents were U.S. citizens or not - that doesn't matter in this case. There's no difference between those two individuals. You can't prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. Also, the voters would still have to decide. I thought it's always "power to the voters"?

The Constitution was written long ago. It's outdated.
