Family Research Council and other Christian Right groups do not approve of Gary Johnson. Can he win the nomination without the support of the Christian Right?

No. Which sucks, because I'm sure he has great appeal to Dem voters as well. But FNC and Rush Limbaugh exists so that good people like Paul and Johnson are too "radical" and "un-Christian" to be eligible for the GOP nomination. Sooner or later, the GOP has to realize the Southern Strategy is not going to be enough

Not sure any conservative can win without the Christian right but I think the real question is...

What is the Christian right willing to lose?

Of course. Even McCain won by a healthy margin in several Southern religious states, including Texas, Florida, and the Carolinas. McCain was not exactly a friend to the Christian right, either. Huckabee was, yet he lost in the previously mentioned states.

I don't think McCain was as socially liberal as this guy is.

Your in for another crushing defeat

Ron Paul or Gary Johnson are campaigning on basically reducing the power of the Presidency...

The message will be to end the wars and and bring down the Iron Obomber curtain, no more dictator in the White house....

Return the power in Government to Congress as it should be...

You will lose congress too...

The President will not be pushing an agenda aside from fiscal sanity, he will just do his job as outlined in the constitution...

Gary Johnson could easily win the Presidency without the help of the Christian Right.

It's winning GOP primaries that would be difficult to do without the help of the Christian Right, or at least without their opposition.
