Not every human on the planet is accepting of homosexuals. There are homophobes in the DNC, the Libertarian Party, the CPUSA and the Socialist parties as well. All people don't think alike incase you didn't know.
and every single Democrat is 100% accepting of homosexuality? You can't generalize because of the statements and behavior of a few. Now, that you have shared this interview with us, can you get on to some other topic other than sexual orientation?

More than half of men are against legalizing marriage between gay or lesbian couples, but 57 percent of women are in favor of it.
There's also a partisan divide on the issue. "More than six in 10 Democrats support same sex marriage, joined by more than half of independents, but seven in 10 Republicans are against it," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

During the 1992 presidential campaign, Phelps protested Hillary Rodham Clinton during a campaign speech in support of the Clinton-Gore ticket at the University of Kansas on October 14, 1992. In Bill Clinton's second presidential campaign, Phelps and the Westboro church also opposed Clinton and Gore because of the administration's support for gay rights. The entire Westboro congregation picketed a 1997 inaugural ball, denouncing Gore as a "famous *** pimp." In 1998, Westboro picketed the funeral of Gore's father, screaming vulgarities at Gore and telling him, "your dad's in Hell."
The thing about Phelps at least he's not committing politically motivated murder like right wing kooks have.
