Hillary was the front runner for a long time during the primary season.

Peggy Noonan: Home

And Noonan isn't conservative, certainly not.
President Obama has done an exceptional job and will easily be reelected.

As for Pubs, what has changed?

1) Still the party of Bush.
2) Still trying to pretend Bush didn't exist.
3) Still trying to pretend there were no lasting effects from 8 Bush years.
4) Still the party that supports Palin.
5) Concerned about the deficit because they have nothing else to focus on.
6) Have not shown the ability to balance a budget.
7) Have not shown the ability to NOT build record deficits.
8) Still teh party that favors the most privileged.
9) Still the party that is overwhelmingly white.
10) Still the party that looks down on blacks.
11) Still the party that looks down on asians.
12) Still the party that looks down on latinos.
13) Still the party that looks down on indians.
14) Still the party for bigots and racists.
15) Still the party that looks down on women.
16) Still the party that looks down on gays.
17) Still the warmongering party.
18) Still the party that has never been able to address illegal immigration.
19) Still the party that hasn't a clue on civil rights.
20) Still the party that condemns unions.
21) Still the party that shuns the middle class.
22) Still the party that shuns the poor.
23) Still the party that shuns the elderly.
24) Still the party that cares nothing about health care.
25) Still the party that believes Bush policies are not to be condemned.

I could go on, but I think it's clear that the stench of the GOP is far too pungent to unseat this great president. Dream on, Pubs.

All of these candidates are way too conventional. We'll just end up with more of what we got with Bush and Obama-- more destruction; bigger government; fewer liberties; extended wars and new wars (or to be politically correct, what does Obama call war now?.."Kinetic Exercize").

All of them are N.G. in my opinion.

Republicans don't really have a strong contender for 2012. The supposed front runner, Mitt Romney, would have some serious issues with a couple of the key factions from the base of the party.

A little early to be nipping at the rum cake, innit?

If the Republicans were smart, this is who they'd make their candidate. Too bad they seem to be more enamored with the more extreme candidates.

Yes it's interesting how the Dems railroaded her out. Sucks to be a woman I guess.

She's definitely not a right-winger. At most she would probably consider herself a moderate.

I think it will come down to what condition the U.S economy is in after those stimulus dollars run out. This will determine if Obama get's re-elected.
