A 16-year-old Israeli boy wounded when an anti-tank rocket fired from Gaza hit a school bus 10 days ago died today, as authorities said they arrested a pair of teens in a grisly family massacre in the West Bank.

Palestinian teenagers Hakim Awad and Amjad Awad are in custody suspected of the stabbing deaths of five members of a settler family, including small children, on March 11, Israeli authorities said.


The April 7 school bus attack provoked a harsh response in the form of Israeli airstrikes against Hamas targets in Gaza. The exchanges of rocket fire and airstrikes threatened to spiral into an all-out conflict before an informal cease-fire restored relative calm.

Well Im glad they caught these two. I wish the people in that region and the entire Middle East would begin to understand how precious and short life is. So many dont seem to value life, and look for one reason or another to kill and teach their children to kill.

Sadly, this conflict will never end. Heck, you could take Israel out of the picture, and they would still kill and terrorize.

Violence and amorality run very deep in Arab societies. Of course Israel is a big target, but they also murder each other ruthlessly.

Libya, Syria, Yemen, Bahrain, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Sudan,.......

They have a completely different value system when it comes to the value of human life.

A couple of quotes from Golda Meir are, unfortunately, still very appropriate today:
“When peace comes we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons.” (Statement at a Press Conference in London, 1969)

Exactly why I wish we'd take the US out of the picture.

Israel did the smart thing -- cordoned off the neighboring Arab village and forced every single resident to provide a DNA sample. That is how they caught these barbarian Orcs.

Unfortunately, a few years down the road, Israel will trade them for some dead soldier's body. That's the way things usually go.
