I, for one, could care less about the online poker. In fact, I just wish the government would get the hell out of everyone's business, personal and otherwise.

He should be indicting people for the empty houses we have around,” referring to the troubles in the mortgage industry.

Well said, Congressman. Well said.

This is PRICELESS!!!!

Barney Frank wants to see people indited for the empty houses! Does he not realize he is calling for his own demise? Or maybe he has a stake in the money laundering.

Barney Frank is the most logical voice? OK, you must be saying they are All fruits and nuts. In that case I will agree.

Our rights are being taken away at a greater pace than I have seen in my lifetime. And some are applauding it. Just wait....they will come for you too.

Online poker companies indicted for fraud - Apr. 15, 2011

I find it amazing that you Republicans feel it is appropriate for the Government to try to control what people do in their own homes with their resources, time and money, but you don't give a damn about jobs, the economy, healthcare, education, the drug problem, or about a thousand other things that REALLY are affecting Americans.

You people bitched and moaned about the nanny state, and then you pull some BS like this.

Big Government? Republicans.

You people disgust me. Make me want to get out of this country for good.
My question to you is this: was the government going after online poker, or the fraud? If it was the fraud, why do you have a problem with the government's actions? I should think efforts to stop fraud are a good thing.

You do have to admit, though, that it is usually Republicans who come out against abortion, gay rights, and pot legalization. All of these things are something that grownups should determine for themselves, not some government authority. I agree with the OP in that there are far more things that need attention than these petty matters. I don't care what consenting adults do behind closed doors and furthermore it's NONE of your business or anyone else's. So please Republitards, practice what you preach and STAY OUT OF OUR LIVES!

The "fraud" was an attempt to circumvent an idiotic, sleazy, hypocritical law. Sure, it was fraudulent. But the government could tell a ham sandwich that being porcine in the midst of two slices of bread is illegal, and then it could indict said ham sandwich. It's been done before.
