Well, we certainly overlooked it when Bahrain violently crushed its protests. As usual, these things come down to the various interest groups who "guide" American foreign policy.
Well according to O, we had to go to Libya to save all of the innocent civilians getting massacred. So I guess that same logic should apply to Syria as well.

We are quickly becoming an imperialist nation.
It seems we didn't care enough about Egypt.
We also didn't even try to go up against Iran.
We jumped into Libya though.
There is a pattern here as to what countries the US wants to "save" but I don't see it yet. (oil ?)
