You are right, what a difference a D makes. If Romney was in office, all the R's would be supporting a military invasion right now instead of questioning it.

I'm a little out of the loop in regards to the subject, but isnt the question involving the need for Congressional approval, not if something needs to take place?
R's questioned Bush taking action, as well as Clinton, without Congressional approval, thats why Bush went to Congress to get authorization before Iraq.
But hey, you just sit there making up crap if it makes you feel better.

Pelosi never mentioned Congressional approval.
That conference call was not about getting Congress approval.
And it was not all of Congress..it was a handful of selected members.
Pelosi needs to be reminded of the words she said regarding Iraq and the responsibility and authority that Congress has that the President doesn't.
yes, my point was that Democrats flip flop almost daily on issues like this, while Republicans have been pretty consistant that the US, when attacking soverign nations, needs Congressional approvals, despite, trlhikers' claim.

Please, R's never questioned what Bush did. They easily went along with everything he said.

BUSH GOT CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL..
The fact that Republicans GAVE Congressional approval, (along with the Democrats), and NOW calling for THE SAME ACTION, means their consistant, while your Obama, Pelos, and other Democrats flip flops, which is the point of the thread.

Some are totally full of it, Hot Aire that is. And yes when there is a D after the name, a memory lapse seems to always be the case.
And no a D OR A DAMN R never means anyone truly wants to go to any war.
Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Holder, Kerry, the rest of the damn lying pack, are the biggest hypocrites out there.
Since Pelosi pushed the vote for Obama care and said we must pass the bill "so we can find out what's in it" it wouldn't surprise me if she is pushing for military action in Syria "so we can save some people who dislike us and lose more young men and women of our military."
