The word "Gay" has yet to rise to the level of an obsene word, therefore if such a law passed it would be eventually overturned by the highest court in the land on free speech grounds.

Did you read the article?

We wouldn't be discussing this sort of legislation if gay activists weren't propagandizing our elementary school kids with crap like "And Tango Makes Three".

Did someone say Mango makes three?

OHHH sorry you said Tango! My mistake.

Would not need the bill if the "GAY MAFIA" was not trying to shove aberrant sexual behavior down the throats of America's youth. Whoa just got the double entendre. Nice how that comes together sometimes. Damn there it is again

The purpose of the bill is to refrain from talking about homosexuality to school children before they're in the 9th grade. There's nothing wrong with this bill.

There's a lot wrong with this bill. People have been using that word for a long time, and now they want to say that you can't use it?

Kids know about homosexuality before 9th grade. I have kids in middle school that have gay friends in their grade and below. The sooner they know, the more tolerant they will be.

Aberrant sexual behavior? I agree, heterosexual sex is pretty gross. Why do so many people engage in it?

Because it's normal.

Yes, and it will protect our youngsters from tripe like this:

Quote:
In the curriculum's second section -- "Looking at Gender Roles and Stereotyping" -- children learn to "expand their notions of gender-appropriate behavior." They read books such as "Sissy Duckling," which deals with "characters challenging gender norms," and "King and King," in which a prince proposes to and marries another prince.
Quote:
Teachers begin lessons by questioning students to identify their current beliefs. Then they use group exercises, films and books to convince the kids that any traditional attitudes they harbor about family structure and homosexuality are harmful "stereotypes." At the end of a lesson, teachers "evaluate" students to ensure that their views now pass official muster.
