If you do, the birther issue will destroy your chances. You simply cannot afford to nominate anyone that harps on where Obama was born.

He isn't going to get the nomination but I agree with you: this birther thing needs to be put behind us. I don't know where he was born, I don't know if the documents we have seen are legit or forged, but I do know nothing is being accomplished by the constant attention the issue is being given.

The only people that are going to vote for Trump are the moderate GOP voters. I know most conservative GOP members are not going to vote for him as they would perceive him to be too liberal. I think Trump has a 'Southern Problem' like Romney has

Maybe the Tea Party Repubs will play the Trump card.

He is wealthy and righties love money.

It would be a natural fit.

Trump will only get the more morderate vote and not the nomination withi the republican party. kind of the nader;or paul type of monrity really. I really don't think he thinks he can win but if so its from Obamas weakness he sees.

I disagree, I think Trump has a great chance of winning.

The GOP should nominate him, though he'll have a tough chance getting the Southern vote.
