My God people, get a grip and take your meds!

The world is watching, your mass manic episode is getting embarrassing.

P.S. - Excellent job President Obama. Thank You and God Bless America.

Uses of LithiumBy: Want To Know It

Lithium is a light and highly reactive metal. It is found in many stars. This post will list some of the common uses of lithium.

Uses of Lithium

•Lithium can be used as a coolant due to its high specific heat capacity.
•Compounds of lithium give fireworks and flares a red color.
•LiOH (lithium hydroxide) is used to make lithium soaps. These soaps are used to manufacture lubricating greases.
•Lithium can be used in disposable and rechargeable batteries. Some rechargeable batteries include the lithium-ion battery and the lithium iron phosphate battery.

Yes, I agree with OP. biochemistry can be a good thing

Lithium as medicine:

Lithium Carbonate, for manic episodes of manic-depressive illness (325339) - Nursing for Nurses

The response post apparently doesnt know the uses of it for medicine. Its been around since the 1980's. Also, many hypo-manic episodes (as shown below) can be cured with this sedating psychotropic prescription.

I suppose lithium works for some. I will spare you a 10 page post on why I am not in support of many drugs.

'Alternatives'---yes, there are some. Get a grip on your mind--however you can--feed it properly--one of the greatest challenges facing society today --or so it would seem.

Thinking, feeling, physical well-being--learn to do it --that is all I know.

fewer than 1% of the population should need such intervention--I don't care what Dr. Drew says, nor Dr. Phil, or anyone else.

Let's look at the real elephants in the room. Those of us who are still able.

no more koolaid for me

lol- I hate Dr. Drew that being said, there are many people who do get help. My brother-in-law self-medicated with alcohol for 35 years till his dr. put him on lithium.

(That is a pic of Glenn Beck...manic people often become easily enraged, and red in the face, also cry alot...

No. That's more of a personality disorder. Medications could help Beck though.

Does "the world" look for our approval when they react to things?
