And yes you are absolutely correct....the responses are just sad....
If it had stopped single attack then you just know in 2008 the Republicans would have bragged about it nonstop especially after Obama kept saying it had never provided anything of value to stop an attack. The former Bushies were desperate to justify their little torture camp just like Congressional Republicans have desperately passed several laws to prevent it from being closed. You just know they'd be crowing about it if there was anything worth crowing about so the very fact that they've been quiet about it for years means there is nothing there for them to brag about.

Are you not watching the news, are you not paying attention, cause if you were you would know that Bush's policies were followed, and obama himself mentioned them. Unless you can walk in the shoes of a PRESIDENT, who was faced with the reality of thousands of Americans killed that fateful day for no reason, don't talk to me, you were not President that is the day George Bush changed.

Today we should not be talking about policies on either side, we can both sides go at it, how ignorant at a time like this. Lets enjoy and savor the moment of a evil evil depescable man, who killed innocent Americans thousands of them that day. And our lives were forever changed.

We can go toe to toe, blaming each other, both sides, but at a time as this, is it really necessary.

It is absolutely pathological.

Really?

"U.S. officials were led to the compound after interrogations of Guantanamo Bay detainees in 2007 yielded the nicknames of two highly trusted couriers used by both bin Laden and 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed. Senior White House officials said Monday, "One courier in particular had our constant attention. Detainees gave us his nom de guerre, his pseudonym, and also identified this man as one of the few couriers trusted by bin Laden."

So you think that intelligence let us be i the area and that intelligence killed Bin Laden. Do you remmeber they Iran rescue under Carter. Didn't work out so well did it. The first world trade buildig was also handled as a police action under Clinton and didn't even recognise who Ben Laden was when offered him by Sudan government. E Imagine what our military would still be liike with the democrats having keep us at Carter levels of person greed.

Space aliens haven't invaded since Iraq either. See, it works! The greatest damage OBL did was economic by suckering a lame brain president into TRILLION DOLLAR wars. If they had focused their efforts on intelligence, police action and limited military strikes instead of bankrupting wars we would be in much stronger position and likely have gotten OBL one way or another.

Agreed, a surgical strike without all of the "collateral" damage might have ended this fiasco almost a decade ago.
