I guess I have to cancel my order for Trump/Palin 2012 bumper stickers.

Well, that's good news! Ironically, they find themselves in a predicament that's usually the pitfall for Democrats: Trying to appease special interest groups. For once, the Democrats are as united as we can get (it's always tricky) and still standing solid with Independents. Most Americans are more socially liberal than the evangelicals would admit, and young voters trend that way. The GOP will have to dig for a candidate. Too bad they didn't run Jeb in 2000, but even he would have been too liberal for the right wing.

If Trump or Palin don't stand a chance then why do Obama supporters seem to be obsessed with them ???

BTW Jeb doesn't stand a chance anytime soon as his brother G.W. really tarnished the Bush brand name.

REALITY CHECK !!!! All Obama does is cater to Special Interest groups.

Wow..did you just decide to pull all kinds of untruths out of your butt today or what?

1) Independents fled the Democratic ticket in the 2010 mid-terms and are still leaving Obama in the dust as we speak. To suggest that Dems are in "solid standing" with the Independents is just farcical.

2) "Evangelicals" don't determine how "socially liberal" American's are; That's left up to the polls, which consistently show that America is a right leaning country.

3) If Democrats are "as United as we can get", then you folks have a real problem on your hand.

I don't know about obsessed, but definitely amused. Why are they amused, probably for the same reason people are amused by Jersey Shore. Train wreck.

1) Yes, but there's plenty of buyer's remorse; the teabaggers' 15 minutes of fame are about over. Recent independent polls show that Obama has had a nice bump in his approval rating, especially among Independents.

2) The evangelical base has been the backbone of the GOP for decades, and don't pretend that every Republican candidate for any office is sure to mollify them. I think Obama's election alone disproves your assertion that "America is a right-leaning country;" millions of people voted to move America forward. They consistently hold for abortion rights, civil rights, and the removal of the government from dictating to us what we're meant to believe. As Obama gradually withdraws troops from Afghanistan (to begin in July), he'll have delivered on a 2nd campaign promise...the 1st being to get bin Laden and other anti-American terrorists.

3) My point flew right over your head...we Democrats don't goose step like some groups...we agree to disagree on certain issues and move toward compromise. Good luck with that in 2012.

Lucky for you that I'm not as sensitive to insults as some posters; you have every right to demonstrate your lack of social skills and simple civility, and you've done a bang-up job.

First and foremost, if you consider that an insult, then you certainly haven't been the subject of my wrath before. I have no reservations whatsoever expressing my displeasure with liberal ideology. Most people on this forum know that. Apparently you have pretty thin skin, if you consider your response something resembling thick skin. LOL

1) Teabaggers? That's your response? Why don't you do yourself a favor and dig up a few statistics. This nation has always been right-leaning.

2) Obama's election does nothing to disprove that we are a right-leaning nation anymore than Jimmy Carter's or Bill Clinton's election did. I'll not say any more to that effect until you educate yourself.

Obama's campaign promises are irrelevant to this conversation.

3) Democrats are not united at all. YOU may agree with the President, but millions of your bretheren are highly upset with his inability to take on the GOP. Again, educate yourself.

9 out of 10 say no way to Obama.

Obama is a lame duck no matter what.

Trump already beat up Obama by forcing him to deliver his long form. Trump therefore showed he could force Obama into doing things and being up front like he has never been before.

Obama has ZERO chance of being re elected, get over it and move on.

Its time for change, a REAL change instead of a rookie fool who has been a gift to end liberalism in America.

Thanks to Obama liberalism is dying in America with only a few *******s left to defend Obama. The rest of them got smart and are moving on.
