The good news is that the kids at that school apparently formed a gay student union as a response to the ban.

I suspect this thread is some sort of inconspicuous stab at Sarah Palin. 99.9% of American's wouldn't give a rats ass what goes on in WASILLA, ALASKA if it weren't for being her hometown.

I wonder if he'll also ban the viewing of DaVinci's Last Supper, the Cistine Chapel, the Pieta, the reading of Tennessee Williams, Herman Melville, Oscar Wilde, listening to Tchaikovsky, Leonard Bernstein etc., etc., etc.,

When you get to the end of the "article" you see the principal allowed the song as long as the part of the lyrics about killing a man is removed.
