I think he was born in the U.S., but that doesn't mean without a shadow of a doubt he was born here. I think his fake birth certificate hides something in his past that he doesn't want people to see.
A thinking person would have to wonder how much of this doubt would have been dispelled had he not taken 2yrs to produce a birth certificate that was at least marginally believable.

Yeah seems like Obama went to great lengths to muddy his own waters.
I don't really care one way or the other and because he has the greatest propaganda machine on planet earth at his disposal, we will never know for certain.
I want him gone for so many other reasons (none of which have anything to do with race or country of origin).

I'm in full agreement. His race is not and has never been a concern for me. I'd have liked to see him offer proof of his eligibility for office prior to assuming the position and don't understand his refusal to provide it.
His attitudes, policies, and beliefs are the things I take issue with and are the reasons I want him out of office.
The reason why you get so many people unsure that Obama was born here, is because the birther issue moved from its original position, which was that "natural born citizen" involved BOTH parents being a us citizen, to somehow his birth certificate location.
The birth certificate answers the question about where he was born, but it doesnt answer the question about the legal definition of "natural born"..

Yes, but now that the birth certificate has been shown, you still say you don't have enough information to say whether or not he was born in this country?

Do you believe everything your government tells you?
