Now what is your justification for controlling the temperature in our houses? Do you realize that my Grandmother will get hypothermia and pneumonia if her house temp is turned below 73?

What party tried to pass that legislation? The democrats.
What party tried to pass the no salt legislation? The democrats.
What party tried to pass the distracted walking legislation? The democrats.
What party tried to pass the no fast food toys law? The democrats.

Surprise! Surprise! I think I see a pattern here.

This might scare you to hear, but the Democrats are not always right, they probably aren't right most of the time. What they is right more often then Republicans.

Seriously? You can't even construct a gramatically correct sentence? What did those AMAZING, TOP-NOTCH PUBLIC SCHOOLS **REALLY** teach you? Environmentalism? Global warming? The wonders of Islam? Social justice? What happened to the good old 3 R's?

They taught me to spot hypocrisy quite well actually. E.g. complaining about the nanny state while wanting to ban porn.

When I say porn I'm talking HARDCORE porn. Not just pictures of two people having sex. I'm talking the kind that has been proven to encourage men to rape women to see what the experience is like.

Just face it you like the Nanny state so long as you can decide what it does and you can use your wisdom to set the limits for everyone. Where you take issue is with other people who think the same thing and think they know what restrictions should be placed on you.

You have no problem with the nanny state as long as it prohibits what you don't like.
